Stillness speaks. Softening is strength.
Yin Yoga isn’t just about stretching, it’s about listening. A slow, meditative practice that works deep into the connective tissues.
In a world that glorifies speed and productivity, Yin Yoga offers something entirely different, permission to slow down, to be still, to listen.
This practice isn’t about how flexible you are or how deep you can go; it’s about meeting yourself exactly as you are, with curiosity and compassion.
Through long-held, passive postures, Yin works deep into the body’s connective tissues, releasing stored tension and encouraging the nervous system to shift into a state of rest and repair. It’s a practice of surrender, one that asks you to soften, to breathe into the spaces that feel tight, and to trust that the deepest transformation often happens in the quietest moments.

The Wintering Retreat
Verb: Wintering
[ the act of passing Winter in a specific place, often involving rest and retreat to recover from difficult times. It is a fallow period used to recharge and reflect, mirroring how plants and animals navigate this season ]
Three nights at Kula, Muriwai. Ocean views, rolling hillsides, and a stillness that holds you from the moment you arrive.
This is a space to slow down before the season asks you to. To rest, to breathe, to be held by practice and by people who understand why that matters.
Join Nadine, Natasha Mason and Zara Brouwers for four days of conscious, unhurried immersion. This retreat also marks ten years of REVA, and we wanted to celebrate it with the people who matter most.
The Space
Kula is a beautifully designed private property in Muriwai, set against ocean views and serene rolling hillsides. The space includes five-star accommodation, generous shared living areas, a high-stud yoga shala, sauna and ice bath, and nourishing catering by FORK throughout your stay.
It is the kind of place that invites you to exhale on arrival and not rush back.
What We'll Move Through
Each day holds two practices: an 8am flow with live DJ, and a gentle yin session in the late afternoon. Woven through the four days you will also experience:
Breathwork · Cacao ceremony · Somatic dance · Tarot · Guided journalling
Time throughout the retreat is yours to use as you need. Massage therapy, reiki, sauna and ice baths are available on site, alongside space to rest, wander, or simply be.
